What happens after you send this

Dispatch reads every request. You get a written rate by email, usually the same day and faster for airport trips. Nothing is booked at this stage.

  1. You send the trip

    Route, timing, passengers and luggage. No payment and no card details.

  2. We review and quote

    We check the route, the right vehicle and availability, then send your rate in writing.

  3. You accept, or you don't

    Decline and nothing happens. There is no charge for requesting a rate.

  4. Written confirmation

    Vehicle, timing and pickup instructions arrive in writing. Your trip is booked at that point, and not before.

What your Toronto chauffeur rate includes

Your written rate covers the route, vehicle and chauffeur listed on it, in Canadian dollars.

  • 60 minutes waiting at airports, 45 minutes elsewhere
  • Free cancellation up to 3 hours before pickup

Added when they apply

  • HST at 13% on taxable charges
  • Extra stops and additional terminal drops
  • Waiting beyond the included period
  • Tolls and paid parking the confirmed route requires
  • Meet-and-greet and child seats, on request

What changes the amount: vehicle class, route distance, number of stops, time of day, airport and terminal, passenger and luggage count, and whether the trip returns. Published flat rates for common routes are on the Toronto limo rates page; your written rate is the authoritative figure for your trip.

Policy

Waiting, flight delays and cancellations

Waiting time

Airport pickups include 60 minutes of waiting, measured from the aircraft's actual landing. Everywhere else, 45 minutes. Total waiting is capped at 90 minutes from when the clock starts. Waiting beyond the included period is charged at the rate shown on your written confirmation.

If your flight moves

Give us the airline and flight number and your pickup time follows the aircraft. Early arrivals and delays are rescheduled at no charge.

Changing or cancelling

Cancel or change free of charge up to 3 hours before pickup. Inside 3 hours, a fee of 2% of the base transportation charge may apply; management may waive it in exceptional circumstances. Send changes by email, phone or text — a request counts once Obsidian Ride acknowledges it.

If we cannot run your trip

We offer a suitable replacement vehicle or a full refund, targeted within 5 business days of the cancelled journey.
